I had a mixed experience at Hotel Rimouski. The room was generally nice and clean, and I loved the shower. However, the service left something to be desired, especially at the reception where the staff didn’t seem very welcoming. While the dining options were convenient, the food quality was mediocre, which was disappointing. Overall, it was a decent stay, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

The room was well-equipped and clean, featuring a generous size with good amenities. However, I had issues with the room's location, as it faced the parking lot and not the river as I had hoped.

While I appreciated the easy access to nearby attractions, the specific room location wasn't ideal. I had hoped for a beautiful river view, but instead faced the parking lot.

The service was friendly overall, but there were moments of frustration, particularly with waiting times during peak hours.

My stay at Hotel Rimouski had its highs and lows. While the spacious river-view suite was a highlight, the hotel certainly faced some challenges, such as noise levels and limited elevator access. The staff, however, provided exemplary service which truly made the difference in my experience. 😊

Rooms

I initially booked an executive suite, but it overlooked the parking lot, which was a bit disappointing. Luckily, the front desk staff quickly moved me to a spacious river-view room that was bright and well-equipped with comfortable beds, a fridge, and a microwave.

The staff were friendly and professional, especially when I needed assistance regarding my room change. Their hospitality exceeded my expectations and was a significant highlight of my visit.
Location
7.0
The hotel is situated near the waterfront, which is a plus, but I did encounter noise from a large party during my stay. Additionally, the wait time for the single elevator was inconvenient.
Dining
6.0
I found the on-site La Brigade restaurant to be decent, though the food was not really good. Service was pleasant, but the meals could have used more finesse.
Facilities

The hotel amenities included a pool and a dining area, though the presence of only one elevator made accessing some facilities a bit tricky. The overall cleanliness was acceptable, but certain areas seemed outdated.

I had a good experience at Hotel Rimouski, with some highs and lows. The staff were excellent, making my stay pleasant every step of the way. I loved the spacious room with a lovely river view, though I was initially disappointed when placed in a parking lot view room. Dining was enjoyable, with tasty meals and good service. However, the public areas felt a bit outdated, and the waiting times for the elevator were frustrating.

Rooms

The room was generous in size at 300 square feet, bright, with a separate sitting area. It was well-equipped with good amenities and offered a lovely view of the river after I moved. However, I also encountered a gloomy room overlooking the parking lot initially, which was disappointing.
